The following is an excerpt from my vote forward letters I am sending to democratic leaning voters in swing states:

I vote because my children face so many challenges, from a warming climate to a deeply divided society. I vote to keep a promise I made to my kids and help elect leaders who will build a better world.

The rest of the letter is a canned plea for them to vote and where to vote. I am up to 55 letters. I hope to send out 70 or so by Saturday when the mailing dead-line ends.

Ultimately doing something is better than nothing.
