Tale of Two Unions--I wonder why they're treated differently? [View all]

There are 2 enormous groups of unionized workers who work directly with the public and should be vaccinated.

One is mostly male and the majority of its members refuse vaccination. One is mostly female and the VAST majority, upwards of 90% ARE already vaccinated.

Obviously, one of these unions needs some major mandates to get them vaccinated, and the others should be praised, but mandated to do a little better to get to 100%.

The coordinator for Covid Response under the Biden administration was just on CNN. He was not shy at all about bragging about mandating the mostly female union (which again, is almost completely voluntarily vaccinated already). He spent about a third of his speaking time on that subject.

He did not mention the mostly male union which is doing MUCH worse in vaccinating its members.

Gosh, I wonder why.
