Before we put too much CO2 into the oceans.
Also, as CO2 is removed, the still abundant CO2 in air will dissolve into the ocean, as there is now solubility margin available.
The cycle would repeat until the atmosphere & oceans came to equilibrium.
Since we're talking about a massive amount of capture, the co2 level in the ocean would take a long time to get close to where it was before human behavior started driving it up.
