17. He wasn't really a conservative.

I mean if you call wanting to establish a red light district, legalize prostitution and helping to push through light rail (which was actually Arne Carlson’s work) conservative.

He was an odd duck and there were some things that he was on the wrong side about especially education if I remember correctly. For example saying that throwing more money at education isn’t the right thing ti do(and I actually sort if agree in the right context)

Yeah he was a weird one but not sure he was a conservative exactly.
