1. If I remember right, the Ken Burns documentary

borrowed heavily from Timothy Eagan’s harrowing book, “The Worst Hard Time”. I highly recommend that book as well as the documentary. I have friends whose parents grew up in Dalhart, Texas, and lived through the Dust Bowl. They said both the book and documentary were accurate.
