58. Other Incouraging Treatments Being Tested Right Now

Feb 29, 2020 · "Remdesivir is currently in Phase III trials in China and at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha. Gilead has said they could have 100,000 doses ready in 3 days if the go-ahead is given for treatment. Other anti-virals: Favipiravir (Toyota Chemical) being trialed in Japan Galidesivir (Biochryst) status unknown Others:

UNMC announced this drug was previously used by them to treat Ebola patients UNMC treated. I have not heard an update since this was first announced but at the time they sounded optimistic about the possibilities with this drug. And look at how fast production could be ginned up.
