Just out of curiosity, do we get to complain that one of the factors slogging the economy, [View all]

is the fact that millions of dollars are being funneled into campaigns?

I mean, if the US really were financially in the dumps, wouldn't it be a National Security issue to divert the money where it's needed the most?
