In reply to the discussion: The Pyrex Glass Controversy That Just Won't Die [View all]rickford66
(6,027 posts)20. We forgot a Pyrex baking pan on the roof of the car once.
It flew off at about 30 mph. It bounced and we returned it to my Mom with no problems. Another time I was showing someone our new Corelle ware and threw a dish across the room to demonstrate with no damage. All this was early 70's. I've inherited lots of Pyrex dishes and bowls from the 50's. It's good to know the date is important when I go to sell them. How do you make lasagna without a Pyrex baking pan? I have two sizes. One for the full recipe and one for the half.
