(88,767 posts)I know of an actor who spent quite a bit of time in the celebrity autograph convention circuit. He went all over the country. He once said that there's an ungodly amount of Hillary hatred out there in the so-called "heartland." He described it as virulent.
I do NOT get it. I do NOT understand it. I never will. What on earth has anybody found, in her or about her or by her, that's so damned objectionable? WHAT is it that's such a turn-off? Are they just that threatened by a woman of the kind of accomplishments she has? That's the only reason why I can guess would be the issue for many of the women voters who voted for trump when they could have (and, IMO, SHOULD have) supported her? I know that kind of mentality exists because I've found myself on the receiving end of it in much lesser way, too.
And/or if they hated her because she stood by her husband and for keeping her family/her marriage together during the whole Monica mess, what would they have done in her place? I bet every one of 'em woulda gone all Tammy Wynette even more than she did, proudly congratulating themselves throughout for doing so.
I don't get it, LisaM. It makes NO sense whatsoever. What the heck is she supposed to have done that earned her such utter ick?
