My Deplorable in-laws this morning: not the reaction I expected!

44. This is when living in a red area has prepared me for this. It's the one I expect.

No really, going full Benghazi nuts, getting red in the face, yelling the craziest crap is what I found out on many occasions is their normal response to bad news for rethugs. There is no words to describe it. One minute you are having normal chat. Then some dog whistle phrase happens and next thing you know you are sitting next to the demonically possessed Linda Blair. You have to duck as to not get hit by the pea soup erupting from their mouth hole.

Sadly they are programmed to react this way. Nothing can be done until they seek treatment. Your argument will always end in a shouting match and you will always lose. No matter what. No matter how right you are and how many facts and truth you offer. It will fall on deaf ears, The only thing that happens is your ears hurt from the yelling and you have sore throat.

I found it best to just walk away when they go Benghazi on me. Sometimes if you do it right, you can slip into the crowd and give the "oh look a crazy person screaming at them-self" look, stop and stare like the other on lookers before walking away shaking your head in pity for the sick person.
