(11,212 posts)39. The difference is Shrub was POTUS when the US was strong
There was still rooom to correct epic blunders. The Con is Potus when American foreign power is weakening so his mistakes are more damaging and the institutions of the country are dying at the same time as our foreign influence.
Shrub was horrendous and his presidency will be the event that signaled the end of the American Century.
The Con will herald in a new world order with the US as a debt ridden, cruel and failing power. The Cons selection as POTUS will signal the Asian Century has begun.
