Trump released the insurrectionists for a reason.

They are his private military, if they are ever needed.

Some have said that they would do it again (January 6th) if Trump asked them to do it.

He likely has plans to do just that. Especially if the reactions to his "policies" become too heated. He now has his own militia.

There is nothing this fool will not do, if he thinks he can get away with it.

so he can declare a national emergency and call up both his militia and the military to step in and enforce everyone to obey and adulate him.

I think there's a very real possibility that a lot of Americans will die before his term is up.

interpreted by the MAGA community as an invitation to perpetrate outrageous acts on his behalf without fear of consequences. Then add those Constitutional Sheriffs into the mix and they may not even face arrest for all sorts of indecent and violent actions, not only on Trump's behalf but perpetrated against vulnerable populations like immigrants and transgender folks. Imagine a world in which the murder of Matthew Shepherd is completely ignored and unpunished?

First, they'll probably head to the border for some target practice. The only possible consequence for any of them is to be charged by states rather than the federal government since the king will no doubt pardon them again.
