(7,017 posts)3. My late Mother in law was a wonderful lady who literally fled Eastern Europe as the Soviets were retaking areas in 1944.
She never once expressed a racist view towards African Americans.
After being in a Senior living center for 6 months, she stunned us one day by saying "MLK Jr. is the one who started all the unrest."
She never watched Fox, but most of her fellow residents did. Undoubtedly, she was just repeating their nonsense.
