Let's talk about the WH Chief of Staff Susie Wiles interview and the mean girls administration.... - Belle of the Ranch

Well, howdy there internet people. It's Belle again.

So, today we're going to talk about the White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles interview and the Mean Girls administration. Wow. So, that was quite the interview, right? We're going to run through the highlights and the obligatory deflection that came from the administration after the interview went out.

If you missed it, Vanity Fair did an interview with various administration officials and just wow. Let's start with the statement from Susie Wiles after the article went out. In relevant part, it says quote the article published early this morning is a disingenuously framed hit piece on me and the finest president, White House staff and cabinet in history. significant context was disregarded and much of what I and others said about the team and the president was left out of the story. I assume after reading it that this was done to paint an overwhelmingly chaotic and negative narrative about the president and our team.

That may or may not be true. But what I found interesting is that thus far, I haven't seen any statement denying the bulk of the quotes in the article. When it comes to Trump, the article says she described him as having an alcoholic's personality in that he believes he can do anything, which is an interesting description because Trump reportedly does not drink. She reportedly said, quote, "High functioning alcoholics or alcoholics in general, their personalities are exaggerated when they drink." And so, I'm a little bit of an expert on big personalities. Big personalities is definitely a way to describe it.

Also on the subject of substance issues, she reportedly described Elon Musk as an avowed ketamine user who would sleep in the executive office building in a sleeping bag during the day. She reportedly mentioned him micro dosing. Wiles has reportedly denied those quotes. The Vanity Fair and the New York Times said they were recorded. Talking more on Musk, she said that she couldn't believe a rational person would believe his process was good and that she was aghast at dissolving US aid. You and me both.

On policy, Wiles totally destroyed Trump's narrative about the boat strikes, saying, quote, "He wants to keep on blowing boats up until Maduro cries uncle." She reportedly said Maduro's days are numbered, indicating the whole operation down south was just a method of moving toward regime change.

When it comes to Trump's revenge tour, she said, quote, "I don't think he's on a retribution tour." Then when pressed on the prosecution of Letitia James, she reportedly said, quote, "Well, that might be the one retribution."

When discussing the attorney general's handling of Epstein, she said, quote, I think she completely whiffed on appreciating that that was the very targeted group that cared about this. First, she gave them binders full of nothingness. And then she said that the witness list or the client list was on her desk. There is no client list and it sure as hell wasn't on her desk.

Wiles reportedly described Vance as a conspiracy theorist. In oddities, Vance praised the chief of staff, saying, quote, "There is this idea that people have that I think was very common in the first administration and that their objective was to control the president or influence the president or even manipulate the president because they had to in order to serve the national interest. Susie just takes the diametrically opposite viewpoint.” That certainly sounds like Vance believes some of Trump's actions don't serve the national interests of the United States. Otherwise, why would people have to influence or manipulate Trump to get him to align with US interests? All of the other stuff is interesting, but that to me is the most revealing line.

Anyway, it's just a thought. Y'all have a good day.
