The law firms that are "fighting back" won't necessarily lose clients. Just the opposite.

Being an attorney, I can attest that clients like their legal representatives to fight to win, not to settle at the first opportunity. If these firms can't defend themselves, why would existing and new clients trust them with their cases?

Sure, it's going to cost some money to win in court (even appeals). But your reputation and good will are far more valuable than these "expenses". Rather, the money spent is an investment towards the present and the future.
