that if the Police inside had literally "dropped" the seditionists as each one came through a door or window, after they started piling up, the rest of the crowd would have tucked tail and run......at worst, the Capitol Police should have stood on the inside of the doors and windows and discharged short spurts of the Dry Chem Fire Extinguishers in their faces as they tried to come through the doors and windows..........there were plenty of extinguishers and believe me, that also would have stopped them in their tracks.
I would have liked to have seen the group that was trying to hunt down Pence actually find him and his SS Detail. It would have been "game over" for all of them........ The SS shoots to kill, and under threat, shoots now, asks questions later.........
All those imprisoned, got off easy with short prison sentences........Their acts were sedition, and aimed at bringing down the entire government of the U.S................Trump, the President of the United States at the time, inviting these insurrectionists to the Capitol and then "Ginning" them up that morning was, no question, Treasonous,........ but the act of Trump pardoning them, after they injured, maimed and killed police officers.... is blatant and flagrant.....TREASON.............
More than all else, I look at Each and Every Republican Senator as equally guilty as Trump..........It is THEY, who could have single handedly stopped Trump, in his tracks, on day one of his occupation of the White House for his actions by impeaching him, but instead they all backed him, just as they had done every day, every week, every month and every year for four years during his occupation of the White House. Because they didn't, THEY TOO, should have all been charged and imprisoned for their complicity........
