I'm still amazed that people think that the guy with the blond squirrel on his head won? There is no way in he!! he won fairly. There are billionaires who wanted his election for the power they will gain. Look around the WORLD and you can see it happening everywhere. We are trained to believe that "Democracy" runs our country well, don't be fooled. MONEY runs our country, if this wasn't true then where is the fairness with the power that our "supreme court" continues to exude. The billionaires power didn't just started this has been slowly happening since the days when big corporation pays a minuscule sum but takes no responsibility. Without truly holding large corporations guilty and truly making them financially pay for their misdoings they will continue with their wrong doings. If you look at their wrong doings (Cancer Ally, Climate Change, Pollution of the poor parts of our country and one can keep pointing out their corruption) they will have one thing familiar, they cost someone their life and I don't just mean one person. If money can pay for murder you think it can't buy an election? Don't fool yourself it they run their new government like many other fascist governments you will only think you voted, yet they will continue to win...

We don't fight to revive democracy because we're strong, but because we're smarter than the tools being used by the oligarchy -- and we fight in spite of them.

Because our children/grandchildren's future must not be lost because we didn't try.
Isn't that reason enough? despite how correct you are?

There has been much we can't control, like how the votes were tabulated in the battlegrounds, and whether or not the richest man on the planet used his classified Starlink system to discount millions of votes thereby.

We are not "trained" to believe democracy runs our country well.
We know for a fact that whether democracy runs well depends on whether the people in it run it well.
We actually have seen people run our country well.

And yes, humans are vulnerable to constant pressures from oligarchs & their fictional personhood corporations to serve their interests more than those of the people.
We who actually pay attention and read studies (the Princeton/Northwestern study of 2014) struggled across four administrations to get what polls show that over 80% of Americans themselves actually want.

So no, it's true that sellouts to oligarchy seem to have started the downward spiral of not valuing democracy enough to run the country well. Oligarchs have been insurgent since Bush, who called them "my base."

Yes, we humans and our environment are the collateral damage of these fictional personhoods' pollutions and destructions.
It's history that is centuries old, as Hannah Arendt lays out in Chaps 8 & 9 of her Origins of Totalitarianism. They started in South Africa, and Elon knows the history of the British models of the secrecy that dominated SA through the likes of Lord Cromer and Cecil Rhodes.

Mammon (money) has now moved into the White House, SCOTUS and Congress.

It's up to us to be able to answer to our children/grandchildren that we tried to fight against the forces of Mammon (money and power expansion) as much as we could for as long as we could.

Our mission is the future. What we've seen and know isn't about us anymore.

It's about the future of all our youth whether we have kids or not.

Many people in the face of change have responded with closed minds. But it is also true that during the course of our efforts many more things strike us in the opposite way: despite temperamental differences, we can also encounter great generosity and great wisdom; e.g., Biden and Blinken have accepted the differences that still make possible the resolving of many serious problems we weren't sure they could successfully deal with.

"The most beautiful day? Today.
The biggest hurdle? Fear.
The easiest thing? Being wrong.
The biggest mistake? Giving up. "
------------- St. Teresa of Calcutta

"Hope is the most divine thing that can exist in the human heart."
------------- Francis, Bishop of Rome

Snoopy? Just decide to. With hope in your heart, and the courage to act.
We and Joe have proven this to be true: We can do anything if we do it together.
