And my Dad was just like that, too! Used to flick his cigarette out of that little open window on the driver's side that they had on cars back in the day when I was a little kid. And I used to ride with him a lot - to keep me entertained, he taught me what the lines in the roads meant, and the signs and identified the makes of the cars that we passed.

And he always had to drive - once after I'd gotten my driver's license, he pulled over because he got a cramp in his foot - so I offered to drive, actually pulled out my (new) license and showed it to him - but we just had to wait for his foot cramp to go away...
