BREAKING Hurricane Milton LATEST update on Florida landfall. - FIVE MINUTE NEWS



National Hurricane Center warns of extreme winds, after storm came ashore south of Tampa. Milton has now knocked out power to more than 2 million Florida customers. The National Weather Service is warning that major flash flooding is ongoing and that will lead to life-threatening impacts. - 10/10/2024.

So it's tough to believe that this storm is worse - and so soon after. My heart goes out to anyone in the storm's path. I'm in the Northeast where we get a lot of snowbirds and an older couple who I've gotten to know just returned to their home near Tampa two weeks ago. We have rough winters here with power outages, but nothing like this.
