I could never have a civil conversation with my mom, about politics. She was a self proclaimed 'well informed' non stop viewer of Fox News and I was stupid, credulous, incapable of thinking for myself, you name it. I stopped trying the day Dick Cheney's name came up and she chided me for criticizing him because, according to her 'he is a good and honorable man'.

I wonder what she'd think of him now.

I did find it interesting that when she was towards the end of her struggle with Alzheimer's, and everyone else was a stranger, she never forgot who I was.

3. Don't know if I can watch this

Kelly-Ann Conway's deliberate obfuscation and bald faced distortion made me want to go hang myself. I, at first, could not believe or imagine that a person would set out to misdirect and lie and prevaricate on purpose. At first I thought she was honestly misinformed. Then when I noticed the personal improvements like teeth and hair, it dawned on me, duh!, what she was doing.
