(16,236 posts)I've read all of her books. I am so glad I watched this video this morning. This woman is 90 and still has all her faculties and is still doing amazing work. This is why ageism is unacceptable in our culture. Kudos for Colbert to have her on his show and to highlight her work towards getting out the vote.
Just watching the political ad at the beginning of the video made me tear up. Thank you for posting this.

(735 posts)Years ago. The microphone went out almost immediately so there was no talk. So, instead, she demonstrated ape hollering and calling, which filled the auditorium. That was probably more memorable than words!
