How Wall Street Took Over Your Vet, Private Equity, 'Pet Debt': Senator Elizabeth Warren, Mass. 🐕

- June 2026 (7 mins). Going into "Pet Debt." Between 2017- 2023, Private Equity firms went on a buying spree of vet practices. People love their pets. PE smelled that love and that money and now vet bills are through the roof. Price gouging, going into 'pet debt,' and 'economic euthanasia.'

there soon will be. All due to people/entities racing around seeking to invest their dollars into mediums that haven't been invested into to within an inch already. Any area in this Country that hasn't seen the boom in investor attention will soon see the onslaught of investors banging down the doors, seeking a way into investing in these infant businesses, and will soon demand a say in how these infant businesses are run (to gen more profits by the way, not to ensure pet safety and health). As we all know, investors, etc. aren't really the business icons that they make themselves out to be, they are basically leeches looking for their next meal (dollars) at low cost compared to their normal 'expensive' investments, basically trying to get ahead of other investors.
