We had a lengthy Spectrum internet outage at work one day and it lasted so long we were going to start missing client delivery deadlines until somebody noticed that the soda machine in the lunchroom was still working. It had its own internet access for credit card transactions that didn't use Spectrum. A quick call to the beverage company and some brilliant work from our IT people and we were delivering to customers on-time through the soda machine. Ironically, one of those clients was, wait for it, Avid!
