Republicans are the party of "fiscal responsibility" or so they say over and over again...Democrats are the party of "waste"...like wasting taxpayer dollars on bad things like healthcare, education, affordable housing, equality...so the Republican is elected and proceeds to shit the bed...crashes the economy and panders to the top 1%..and then the Democrat is elected... the Democrat then spends four years cleaning up the shit the Republican left behind but not fast enough...the Republican makes that his election promise..he will clean up the tiny stain the Democrat missed and the Republican walks into the Oval Office...simple...
