as to whether or not they wanted him (Patel) there. Seems a standing order to allow only those with prior permissions or that granted in real time to be admitted to the post-game celebrations and locker rooms. No politicians unless specifically approved permitted.
This could have all be avoided. I get that the men's team members were not focused on either Patel or really Trump in any way, but just celebrating their own victory. But it became clear quickly that they were going to be objects of exploitation by those two. Someone clear-headed but representing the team should have stepped in. I argued with my sister that the women should definitely decline his mocking "invitation"--which they did while we were still on the phone. She was arguing that some would or do have kids and the mother's meeting the President at the WH would be such an honor that they should not decline. Of course that set me off since to me, not only did he mock them and their victory, but he is going to go down in history as among the most immoral leaders in the world. Maybe not quite like Hitler, but damn if he doesn't have a hell of a lot of unfathomable and sadistic acts that have or will be revealed.
Now, if only the men would be smart enough to decline. They are definitely being exploited but are just too awe-struck, politically unaware and thus ignorant (or actual MAGA supporters) to realize it.
