Really American Host Kenny Hesse breaks down Republican Representative Thomas Massie posting a harrowing message about his safety in response to the Backlash he's received from Trump's DOJ and Pam Bondi over his Epstein Files Transparency Act petition and the administration's blatant cover up.

This is INSANE.

but it certainly lets people be more informed about the vid, and about whatever event is getting covered. Not uncommon for me to Rec a posting based on the information available in the description, without having watched it.

4. My Theory: Is that "Really American" (along with others) use big arrows and colorful language...

... and the ubiquitous IMPACT font/typestyle (in YELLOW) to hype stories/analysis and get clicks that they rarely deserve. It's how they make nothingburgers look delicious and satisfying. But in the end, it's just disappointing air. Especially true when they take 10-12 minutes to tell people something that could have take an entire 3 minutes. But brevity means that there's no opportunity for youtube to insert a midpoint ad.

5. I agree, there is a perverse incentives around producing vids.

I am loathe to click on them, just to see if they might be interesting. Occasionally there are good ones, though, so I am more likely to consider a vid if I see more than just the title, especially if that title has any words in all caps. And even with videos or producers I like, I'm quite likely to bump up the replay speed.
