They're both really strong candidates and I agree with you that they need to avoid going negative

I hope it can be entirely positive and jsut let people choose the candidate they like best without either one going negative.
Theres reason to be skeptical about that idea tho

There's plenty to criticize regarding Republican rule especially in Texas.

But having two big name candidates in the same statewide race while other statewide races go virtually ignored is, to say the least...

(12,653 posts)7. I wish that someone had been Crockett. She would have been a hell of an asset campaigning for others in 2026.
She may yet be if she loses the primary. I love her and hate that the idea of her winning this one fills me with dread because I think Talarico is a unique voice we desperately need on the national stage.
