According to new CNN polls conducted by SSRS, neither Vice President Kamala Harris nor former President Donald Trump have established a clear advantage in the race for the White House in two key Southern battleground states. CNN's David Chalian has the numbers.

I'm a New Englander turning 70 on Sunday.
So don't slam me for not being around long enough to vent honestly about the damned south.

It's beautiful country, in many places.
And there are plenty of good, right-thinking people, here and there. (esp the ones here at DU)

BUT NEVER ENOUGH AND NEVER WIDELY-SPREAD.

If we had just let them secede in the Civil War, the rest of us might have been better off over the interim 160 years.
