8. This infuriates me

My husband and I have 4 children. We were also foster parents for 3 children. Over 30 years later, 2 of our 3 foster children still keep in touch with us. When our oldest daughter died of cancer last year, our foster daughter was a rock. She was there to support us in the same way we supported her.
A family isn't biological relatives. A family is the people who love and support you in your darkest moments, and who you love and support in their darkest moments.
