Michael Cohen: 'Not a single group in America' that 'lazy' Trump hasn't directly insulted - Velshi - MSNBC

“He has insulted every group” of people, says Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen, and now he’s leaning into racist conspiracy theories and “race-baiting” because “he needs to come up with an excuse in advance, knowing he’s going to lose the election.” It’s all he has left, says Cohen, host of ‘The Michael Cohen Show’, who describes Trump as a “lazy guy” who “doesn’t read and won’t prepare.” - Aired on 09/14/2024.

He was the first president that I paid attention to and really liked - and I recommend his autobiography "A Full Life: Reflections at 90." He really has had an amazing and very full life, his childhood in rural Georgia, his brilliant Navy career and his first days of public service - to his days in the White House and the Camp David Accords. And I realized that I agreed with him on pretty much everything.

I am GenX. I was 8 years old when he took office and 12 when he left office. I remember him well. He was a GREAT PRESIDENT caught in a very bad place and time. When he would speak, one could hear the love, humanity and wisdom in his voice. His humanity did not end with leaving the WH. He and Mrs.Carter (R.I.P.) were involved in so many humanitarian projects together. Thank you President Carter, Thank you First Lady Rosalynn Carter for all of your kindness and dedication.

P.S. Thank You Rhiannon12866 for sharing. God bless.

I read that he made Secret Service crazy since he'd stop and chat with anyone on the street. And you're right, his service didn't stop when his presidency did. He's known for ensuring safe elections in other countries and building houses for Habitat for Humanity, but he was also an excellent diplomat and served several subsequent administrations - especially his successful negotiations with North Korea regarding their nuclear program. Not only was Carter a nuclear physicist, but he gave Kim Il Sung (Kim Jong Un's grandfather) respect - since that's what he wanted.

I have been fallowing politics since Jimmy first took office. Most kids do not and not at that time either. Jimmy is like a second father to the now men and women of my generation who love him. When Jimmy sadly leaves us as we all must leave in time, a piece of us who love him will die as well. This is the true movement of time we all feel. Nice to hear the love from a fellow "Carter nut". God bless.

Thank you President Carter, for all you have done. 39 !!!! We love you Jimmy.
