'Feels like the Super Bowl': VP Harris faces highest possible stakes in first debate - The 11th Hour - MSNBC

The rules are set and we're just days away from the first debate between VP Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. The last presidential debate may have been the most consequential one in the history of our country, so what should we expect from this one? Steve Liesman, Rev. Al Sharpton, Pablo Torre, and Maya Eaglin join Stephanie Ruhle for this week's Nightcap on The 11th Hour. - Aired on 09/06/2024.

This is not about finding someone who is left or right of some centric position - THIS ABOUT PROTECTING DEMOCRACY! Everything else can be addressed once we achieve that. If we don't, well... then nothing will ever be addressed.

Sometimes, the talking heads (apologies to the band) need to agree on the basis - the foundation. Most times, they all want to have something unique to say regardless of how loony it is.

It was an interesting discussion to listen to. As always, you are one of my brightest stars in the DU constellation!

And he's used to participating so had no reason to compete to stand out. Ad I also agree that we have only one job in front of us, doing whatever we can to preserve our democracy, that's job #1 in the upcoming election, after that we can work on the rest. And thanks! I try to share the issues of the day...

What I don't like is, this is treating Trump as a real candidate. Hello, this is a dictator vs democracy. If people don't get it, we are screwed. There should be no debate.
