How U.S. College Administrators Are "Dreaming Up Ways to Squash Gaza Protests"

As the fall term gets underway for students across the United States, we speak with journalist and academic Natasha Lennard about how college administrators are attempting to quash Gaza solidarity actions following mass protests at campuses across the country in the spring. One example is New York University, which recently updated its student policy to make criticisms of Zionism potentially punishable under its anti-discrimination rules. "It's extremely dangerous," says Lennard, who teaches at The New School. "It performs de facto apologia for Israel, and to have that put into writing by a university so clearly is just open for further abuses."

Excellent news! Antisemitism should not be tolerated. Support of terrorist orgs should not be tolerated. Oopsie Daisy Sep 5 #3

Nobody uses "quash" anymore. I can't help but feel it's because "squash" is really more in line with their desires.

This is not Gaza solidarity. It is blatant anti-Semitism. It is being disguised by using the work "Zionism."

Leave it to Democracy Not to come up with such a discussion.

In fact, "Democracy Now!" should not be tolerated! What a steaming pile of anti-Democratic party and antisemitism this so-called "independent news" (ha-ha) organization is.

They have a complete lack of objectivity. They embrace conspiracy theories and promote fringe viewpoints. "Democracy Now!" regularly resorts to GORE and sensationalism to attract viewers or push a particular narrative.

They have zero integrity. It just amazes me how many of their videos spam this forum.
