Hamas killed the hostages? Couldn’t they have died from a health issue? Perhaps they were killed by Israeli firepower?

Once captured by Hamas, Hamas was responsible for their deaths.

Military prisoners of war know they may be deliberately killed, or die of disease or starvation.
Or be killed by their own side because they are in a combat zone.

Civilians are probably not aware of the very grim reality of being a hostage/prisoner of war.
They are understandably naive. And have fantasies of rescue.

You give your opinion, I give mine.

You are allowed to disagree with solid facts.
That is your right.

People who have criticized the “wrong” side here, or are just anti-war/anti-violence have been prevented from posting, and one friend was even removed. So I will keep my remark to myself, and let you declare “victory,” for fear of being removed from DU.
