"They Want Palestine Empty": Artist in Jenin Blasts U.S. Support for Israel Amid West Bank Assault

At least 18 Palestinians have been killed and 30 more wounded in the occupied West Bank, where Israel has launched its largest military operation in two decades. Israeli forces have simultaneously raided four cities and refugee camps in the north, with hundreds of soldiers backed by armored vehicles, bulldozers, fighter jets and drones. Much of the violence has been centered on Jenin, a frequent target of raids by Israeli forces, but this latest military operation is the largest since the Second Intifada. Ahmed Tobasi, artistic director at the Freedom Theatre in Jenin refugee camp, says Israel's tactics are about "punishing the people, punishing the civilians," with an ultimate goal of ethnic cleansing. "They want Palestine empty from Palestinians." He also calls on the U.S. public to speak out against continued military support for Israel, saying the killings in both Gaza and the West Bank are only possible because Israel has "the green light from the U.S. government."

This is a full on Holocaust of the Palestinians, and unfortunately, disgracefully, shamefully the American government is complicit. So are the American people who refuse to speak up.

Never again is a universal statement to them as well.

The American government generally turns like a giant ship, not a jet fighter, but I believe it is turning.

This is particularly true during an election year when old consistent and comfortable patterns, that no longer suit the times need to be revised.

I believe Netanyahu's enabled Hamas group; knew this last October when they waged a suicide attack against Israel. The "October surprise" just began a year early, knowing it would take time to create enough horrendous conditions to adversely affect the Democratic Party this November.

Netanyahu; long time family friend of *rump's son in law and facing his own corruption charges wants the convicted felon back in power here in the U.S. as well because *rump simply doesn't care and shadow diplomat Jared Kushner believes Gaza has good investment opportunity for journalist hating MBS's money.

... because Netanyahu and many Israelis do not see this as a Holocaust or genocide.

I do.
