asking why U.S. troops left all that equipment behind. What the hell? According to the agreement U.S. troops had to be reduced to 8,500 within 45 days. Not a whole lot you can do with a force that since - especially in a country the size and topography of Afghanistan. Sure as hell can't go around collecting armament.
