1. There are now four of these

Democracy Not things in the "Latest Videos," posted on the front page. Many of us are tired of the spamminess, the questionable nature of this site, just short of alertable. DU can do better.

2. This is the Cable News forum, Democracy Now is a one hour a day news program, not 24/7 and

anyone can post videos from other news sources all day and night long that do run 24/7.

This is what's going here in the U.S. and around the world and I get more information from Democracy Now in 1 hour which actually interviews experts in their fields and lets them speak directly to the American People rather than listening to the corporate media; (which I do as well) but primarily uses well paid pundits employed by those same corporate conglomerates spending all day and night long giving their conflict of interest opinions on the issues and subjects of the day.

The way I see it Democracy Now promotes critical thinking rather than putting it to sleep.

3. This is the forum where videos belong - there are only 2, cable news and those put out by those not featured on the news

EarlG replaced V&M, the forum for videos, with 2 forums for videos when we moved to DU.4 - and Democracy Now is a national news site:

And this site has been posted here for years, especially "Top U.S. & World Headlines."
