(8,530 posts). . . People have this fantasy -- and it is a fantasy -- of Kamala Harris the prosecutor "prosecuting the case" against Trump during a debate. Look, iit isn't that I don't think she could take him on effectively. But it is important to remember that a presidential debate is NOT a courtroom cross-examination, and the Trump campaign will almost certainly not agree to ground rules that would provide Kamala an opportunity to do this. I worry that we are setting expectations too high -- and thus setting ourselves up for disappointment -- by placing so much emphasis on a Harris-Trump debate.
