4. She's had numerous opponents, I met and made GOTV calls for the first one

She succeded a long-time moderate Democrat from Northern New York (we got redistricted, used to be part of NY-20 to the South). When he retired I went to the meetup where he introduced his chosen successor and I liked him a lot. Inexcplicably, Stefanik won, and there were protests from the start. She refused to publicize her schedule since she knew protesters would show up - and this was even before she became full-on-TFG. I think that happened when she appeared on national TV at the second impeachment hearing alongside Gym Jordan - and since then she's gotten even worse. On election night 2022 she endorsed TFG for 2024 so she could be the first. She has yet another opponent this time around, have to find out more about her, but she's getting my vote.


There were billboards throughout the district calling for her resignation after her support for J6 and her impeachment vote. I used to pass this one on my way home:

6. Exactly. And she accused Liz Cheney of turning constituents against her - like so many weren't against her already.

When she has a rare telephone "town hall' she blocks those who disagree with her or ask questions she doesn't like. And like so many Republicans, she takes credit for bills that are passed which the people like - even though she voted against them.
