First day of Harris campaign ignites a fundraising boom - The 11th Hour - MSNBC

Monday marked the first full day of Vice President Kamala Harris' 2024 presidential campaign — and it was full of endorsements and fundraising records. Plus, Nancy Pelosi added her name to the long list of Democrats who are endorsing Harris. Jeff Mason, Symone Sanders-Townsend, and Jennifer Palmieri join Stephanie Ruhle to discuss. - Aired on 07/22/2024.

Harris needs to attenuate the messaging... Layzeebeaver Jul 23 #1
And I have no doubt that she can do that - along with calling out the deluge of Republican lies Rhiannon12866 Jul 23 #2

It's not about her sex
It's not about her racial heritage
It's not about her career in Law

It's ALL about defeating everything that stands in the way of democracy.

Let's not forget, Joe Biden will be an "angel on her shoulder".

A vote for her means a vote for democrats, and your vote means that Joe will continue to be an influence.

Let's get this done!

But I'm scrambling, too - I was depressed as hell all yesterday, but the all the positive news today has certainly helped. I'm just hoping that it continues and that we're finally on a roll. However, I have no doubt that VP Harris will be more than capable of calling out the Republican lies - which is all they have, no plans of serving the people like the Biden administration has remarkably.

Here I am, sitting in the middle of Britain (Post Brexit) thinking...

Why did I settle here in 2010? (OK, it was because of my partner (and I love her to the end of the earth!!!) -- and for full disclosure I had been working here starting in 2004. AND for perhaps a later discussion, I was a first person viewer of the 7/7 incident in London)

Was Britain (at the time) a leading voice in promoting positive immigration policy? (guess not... based on the Rwanda fiasco...)

I've been depressed for the last 14 years.

Now, we have Labour finally back in power.

And hopefully, a Labour-centric administration in America...

there will be a time in the next 6 months when I will get a good nights sleep...

I've been to Britain twice in my life, as a kid with my summer camp when we went there to ride horses and then with my parents and grandmother back in the mid '80s since my grandmother had never been there though she had traveled all over the country and abroad. It's a beautiful country with such nice people, I envy that you're there right now since the weather must be ideal.
