President Joe Biden announced that he is dropping out of the 2024 presidential race. In a statement on X, Biden said, “I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down.”

Yes, and in that order of importance, as well. Nation first/party second. It's been coincidental, though, that its only Democrats who will do what's best for the country. Who'duh thought it, eh? I mean, coincidence?

When he says Kamala is his pick then I'm a Harris supporter. The conversation gets in the weeds if we vary beyond that sentiment. The only ones who profit when there is disgruntlement among Democrats are Republicans. I know it's because of a relative few extremely wealthy folks that we're saying "so long" to Buden's campaign. Perhaps a Harris administration could make some headway in leveling the "wealth/political clout" inequality we labor under.

Also, she said that in the statement Biden did not endorse Kamala Harris as his replacement. But elsewhere on DU and in the media there are claims that Biden did endorse Harris. Did he endorse her after Jen read that statement? Are the claims of his endorsement of Harris false?
