In breaking news from Ukraine, Russia has launched a major daytime air assault, killing at least 20 people and injuring dozens. President Zelenskyy says 40 missiles targeted cities across the country.

A children's hospital in the capital Kyiv was damaged in the strikes. Rescuers are searching for people trapped under the rubble. The city's mayor says it's one of the worst attacks since Russia began its full-scale invasion. - Aired on 07/08/2024.

2. Can someone please explain why Ukraine does not hit Russian targets? I don't mean children hospitals, but

other targets that would affect daily life in Russia, Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities? Russia targets civilian installations, and now a children's hospital, it cannot get more criminal than that, but the Russian people are not suffering from the invasion, to them it must be something foreign they cannot grasp completely, besides the economic problems the invasion is causing, but other than that life in Russia is same as usual while Putin has destroyed cities and killed an enormous number of civilians.

So...what prevents Ukraine from targeting Russia installations? I just don't understand it.
