When I mark a forum as read, I get a pop-up asking if I want to mark the forum as read.

Is this intentional?

Since marking isn’t something that can be undone, we included a standard confirmation pop up, in case someone clicks/taps the button when they didn’t mean to.

I mean in the browser. I find this very annoying. In most forums I use, the posts will be changed to a non-bold font when they have been marked read. On here, I don't see any visual change and, within the browser, things don't change unless I physically click on every entry. I must be doing something wrong but I can't find it.
