Is there any to turn off the flashing "My Stuff" box?

If I don't go to it immediately to address it, it will trigger a migraine. I logged on and my stomach immediately started churning when I saw the "My Stuff" flashing, the first indication that something is triggering a migraine. I'm very sensitive to flashing things and I don't always want to go to that section immediately when logging on to DU.

I don't mean to be a pain, but it is an issue. Thanks.

I just came to this forum to ask the same question. Kali thanks for the answer. I just shut down the flashing.

It's much less distracting and you can choose what to be notified for. Awesome!

Some flashing in addition to the "New" icon would be nice. The yellow/blue flashing alone isn't very effective and those who are color blind might not even see it.
