Could not get preview without a subject line

I composed the TOONs posts on DU4 for the first time today, and a subject line was needed to get a preview. That hadn't been the case previously, and often I'd re-arrange things before settling on what would be on top and make a good subject line.

I understand not being able to post without a subject line/discussion title, but is that block necessary for previews?

But you're right, you don't need to enter a subject line on DU3 to preview. That actually seems like an oversight.

We have a different approach for detecting whether a subject line is filled or not on DU4, so it's likely going to stay the way it is going forward.

Fortunately it's not much of a problem to just drop in a few characters to create a temporary subject line if you're not sure what you want your final subject line to say before previewing.
