DU4 Bug Reports
Related: About this forumDropping CSS/scripts: makes text only view
If I reply or hit certain buttons, I get a text only view, as if code or server or transmission has dropped CSS / scripts.
If I then hit F5 to refresh, the page displays properly.
This may not be widespread because for other reasons I read mainly on this Windows 7 machine with Firefox 99, and the F5 refresh makes it only an annoyance, not a show stopper.
(Generally speaking, DU4 is very good work).

(22,524 posts)The appearance of this issue on DU4 is probably related to the fact that we're running an entire new site on a separate subdomain and our firewall hasn't yet adapted to what's going on, so occasionally it will block legitimate connections to the CSS files, which in turn causes the page to load with no styling.
We're going to keep monitoring this, but there's a good chance the situation will improve as more people use DU4.

(25,233 posts)What is being described here is similar with the exception of all is well after I refresh. Refresh didn't work for me in this instance.
All this newness is lots to absorb. So I will just keep my concerns to myself and see what happens. It stands to reason there will be many who, in the spirit of good will, may make the same mistake I did and post their own redundant bugs.
This redundancy is most likely because it's a pervasive and persistent bug. The number of bug occurrences by bug may give you an indication of what and where the trigger of the bug may exist. For example, my formatting disappeared when I attempted to enter the NC Group. Just a thought.
If it's required that I read all other bug reports before posting my own report I'll just hold off to avoid being overwhelming and overwhelmed.
Thanks for your reply and all of your hard work.

(22,524 posts)I've asked people to check the Bug Reports forum to see if their issue has already been posted, but it's not a big deal if that's too overwhelming. I locked your previous thread purely so that I can keep track of which issues are active and which are resolved, for my own housekeeping.
Honestly I would rather hear about a bug than not, so if you want to report something, please do.
