Related: About this forumMY STUFF reverts to Default after Save All Settings
From "Account Settings", '"My Stuff" notifications', "My Stuff" notification style,
selected "Solid"
clicked "Save All Settings" just below the options for "My Stuff"
After it returned with the green bar "All settings saved.", "My Stuff" notification has reverted to "Default".
Tried multiple times, with and without altering other settings, and with and without altering 1 of the 3 options for notification.

(22,696 posts)It sounds like you're using Night Mode, is that right? I'll take a look at this and see if I can figure out what's going on.

Could you try again? It would be helpful if you could send me a short video (or series of screenshots) showing the process you're going through that is failing to save your setting to elad@democraticunderground.com
I can describe it, very simple. In the settings tab, anything that I save goes back to default after I click on "save" for many of the settings like changing notifications for the flashing "MY STUFF" tab.
It doesn't flash at me now but the badge does not appear when there are responses to my posts which is the only thing I had selected besides for my inbox. So at this point, I'm not certain what it's saving, it saved the night mode and got rid of other things I didn't want.
So the notifications for my stuff is at issue, I think. Doesn't appear to affecting everything. The SAVE button thing, once you click on it, goes into the ethers of the interwebs for a second like it's loading my selections but goes back to default immediately.
Hope that's helpful.
Thanks.

(11,406 posts)Specifically with regards to changing the "My Stuff notifications style"? The database indicates that you have a setting saved, so I suspect it is working for you.
I had another DUer reply to a message after and there was no notification badge as is shown as the sample on the settings page.
I did send an email to the address above with a more coherent explanation. But I still didn't see the badge thing.
I had already opened my posts before I opened this site so I wasn't able to see if it worked now, it didn't a couple hours ago, though.
