Sanders disagrees with Obama that 'old men' are the problem - Sixth Democratic debate

Dec 19, 2019

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., -- the oldest candidate on the Democratic debate stage at age 78 -- said he disagrees with President Obama that much of the world’s problems reside with “old people, usually old men, not getting out of the way.” Instead, Sanders said, the problems are no guaranteed health care, an existential crisis of climate change and income inequality. “The issue is where power resides in America,” he said. Sanders is one of the seven Democrats vying for their party's 2020 presidential nomination who met on the stage for the sixth Democratic debate on Dec. 19, hosted by the PBS NewsHour and POLITICO.
