1. I just love her, she is so wicked smart....

and yet on the other hand has her humorous moments.

She did have good things to say, but I was a bit disappointed that she was not quite as forceful as earlier in the day, and seemed to walk back some of her strong statements made right after the hearing.

Kamala was strong in answering questions right after the hearing and later on Hardball with Chris Matthews.

4. To my ears, she seemed to be more 'nuanced' in some of her answers to Mathews, when

he pressed her about earlier statements, IMHO.

No big deal, just sounded that way to me.

5. I suspect that's more of a "heat of the moment" reaction...

vs having time to reflect a bit and make a more thoughtful statement. It's not walking anything back, but "more nuanced" is probably accurate. And not necessarily a bad thing.
