we have a chance to flip it this cycle, and I'd rather we didn't lose too many of them to VP/cabinet positions.

While I believe he would make an excellent choice for VP, I think I’d rather he ran for the Senate.

We have a number of candidates who would serve us better running for Senate. The WH is huge, but unless we knock down Mitch, we won't accomplish much.
