What will be/should be Pete Buttigieg's response when the Buffoon gives him a derogatory

nickname.

I'm sure Pete will have the best response possible. But, I was just fantasizing that he should say something along the lines of: "I'm sad that his needs are so strong that he feels compelled to do this." Something along this line in order to turn it back on Trump;

Just my thoughts - and worry - when the inevitable time comes.

Trump is a gutless fuck.

I am sure Buttigieg, given his extraordinary intellect, will handle the fat orange just fine.

and it also led to back him because I saw how perfect is was.

When a president (who faked a disability in order to avoid serving) attacks a departed war hero, it’s for attention.

We should honor the late Senator McCain, and also follow his example by focusing not on the behavior of the president but on the future of our country.

Very polite in tone, but a clear attack on Trump, followed by disclaiming such attacks and a final pivot to a more important topic. Brilliant. Like a stiletto to Trump's bludgeon.

Also consider today's response to Pence's wife when she complained that they used to get along so well.

People will often be polite to you in person, while advancing policies that harm you and your family. You will be polite to them in turn, but you need not stand for such harms. Instead, you push back, honestly and emphatically. So it goes, in the public square.

Basically, we did the perfunctory political air kisses, but that has nothing to do with you trying to stab me in the back. But, hey, that's politics.

I don't think we should worry about Pete going off the rails or stumbling around for an answer. I'd bet that he has already answered Trump's insults and belittling in his own mind. I'm certain there's nothing that Trump could say that Pete hasn't anticipated. Seriously.
